Seamless Patchwork Pillow

Materiais necessários     Required materials

Retalhos de tecido          Fabric patches

Cola UHU textile           UHU textile glue

Ferro de engomar           Iron

Fitas gregas                    Ribbons

Drakalon com cola         Drakalon with glue
Molas de roupa              Spring pegs

1- Dispor os retalhos, juntar dois retalhos contíguos do avesso e colar o lado comum, tal como se de uma costura se tratasse. Fazer alguma pressão e deixar repousar.
1- Arrange the patches, joining two adjacent patches inside out and paste the common side as if it were a seam. Do some pressure and let stand.

2- Repetir e depois colar fila com fila. Com a capa do avesso, passar as costuras a ferro. Atenção: este passo é fundamental porque a cola precisa de ferro.
2 - Repeat, paste row with row and ironing at the seams. Warning: this step is critical because the glue needs iron.

3- Com a capa de frente, dispor o drakalon com a cola para cima e passar a ferro. O drakalon é opcional e serve para dar maior suavidade ao toque.
3- Place the drakalon with glue up, overlap the fabric facing up and ironing. The drakalon is optional and gives extra softness to the touch.

 

4- Dispor a cola sobre as uniões dos retalhos e aplicar as fitas. Mesmo que faça uma almofada com máquina de costura, a aplicação das fitas com cola resulta num acabamento melhor.
4 - Put the glue on the patches joins and apply the ribbons. Even making a pillow with a sewing machine, the application of ribbons with glue has a better finish.

5- Cortar um retalho da dimensão da capa formada, virá-los para dentro, colar as margens deixando uma abertura, pressionar, passar a ferro e aguardar 12h.
5 - Cut a fabric patch of the same size, turn them inside, glue the edges leaving an opening, press, ironing and wait 12 hours.

6- Cortar os excessos.

7- Voltar a almofada através da abertura e colocar enchimento.
7- Turn the pillow and fill it.

8- Colar a abertura. Colocar molas sobre as fitas e fazer alguma pressão no restante tecido durante uns minutos.
8 - Paste the opening. Put spring pegs over the ribbons and make some pressure on the remaining fabric for a few minutes.

9- Retirar as molas e deixar repousar a almofada durante 24h, período necessário para a secagem completa da cola. A partir daí, use e abuse! Atenção: pode ir à máquina de lavar até 40ºC.
9 - Remove the spring pegs and allow the pillow to stand during 24 hours, time required to complete drying of the glue. Thereafter, use and abuse! Please note: can go to the washer until 40 º C.

Taça Com Patchcolagem

Materiais:

papel découpage, cola com glitters, taça em pasta maché

Ferramentas:

pincel, godés
Materials:
decoupage paper, glue with glitters, paper mache cup
Tools:
brush, pots

1- Rasgue o papel em vários pedaços pequenos. Aplique cola na taça, coloque o papel por cima e, com o pincel com cola, estique o papel do centro para os extremos.

1 - Rip paper into several small pieces. Apply glue to the cup, place the paper on top and with brush with glue, stretch paper from the center to the ends.

 

 2- Vá repetindo o processo, decorando a taça a seu gosto: cola, papel e cola novamente. Atenção: não precisa de colocar tanta cola como eu, eu usei demasiada cola.

2 - Repeat the process, decorating the cup as you like: glue, paper and glue again. Warning: you don't need to put so much glue as I do, I used too much glue.
